Life is in upheaval at the moment. Not too long ago (but what feels like an eternity), Sam was offered a job in Central Oregon, and although we live in North-Eastern Colorado and have done so for almost two decades, it felt like the universe was sending us off on a new adventure. We put our home in Colorado up for sale and it was under contract within two days. Ahhh!!!! The market is insane everywhere right now, but it seems to be particularly crazy here. With multiple offers to choose from, we made our pick and waited it out to see how things would go. Overall, the process of selling has been smooth - although, we aren't quite through it yet so allow me to pause to knock on wood. Of course, there are always those little moments that pop up and cause alarm, especially with an impending out-of-state move (and nowhere for us to move to), but with the exception of needing to extend the closing date by a week, things are heading forward to closing.
